Land Acknowledgment
We would like to acknowledge that Unicamp is situated on the traditional territories of the First Peoples of Turtle Island, and that this land is shared territory between the Neyaashiinigmiing (Cape Croker), Saugeen, and Beausoleil First Nation peoples.

Unicamp is a Unitarian Universalist camp that is committed to providing a safe and welcoming seasonal camp and spiritual retreat for our diverse community. We know every person is important, we reach for kindness in all we do. We foster the freedom to learn together as each person searches for what is true. We encourage people to find their voice, working toward a fair and peaceful world, and respecting our sacred planet. Our programs and activities are designed to grow awareness and practice of these UU values.

Located in Dufferin County, just north of Shelburne, Ontario, Unicamp lies within the UNESCO Niagara Escarpment Biosphere Reserve. Camp offers 50 peaceful acres of meadows, coniferous and deciduous forests, marshes, streams, with two beaches on a 2.5-acre spring-fed pond that is safe for swimming. This is your magical place to relax, explore, and reconnect with self, community, and nature.

Unicamp’s high quality UU values-based programs and activities enable this community to demonstrate a respect for our natural assets, for each other, and for the interdependent web of creation. Central to this programming is Unicamp’s mandate to organize, operate, and maintain camps with related services for children. We provide facilities for programs, seminars, leadership conferences, and workshops for a variety of ages.

Unicamp’s strength comes from its community; you are welcome to be a part of it! Campers are asked to help with chores, such as tidying their accommodations at the end of their stay. Each of us has special qualities and talents to share. Volunteer opportunities include: fundraising support, serving on a Committee, giving a hand with property maintenance during Work periods, facilitating a program during Family Week, Camp Caregiver (during Children’s Camps and Jouth), and more! Check in at the Admin building if you ever have free time to pitch in for a special Unicamp task.
