In honour of our 8th principle and the conversations led by Dr. Wilburn Hayden and Reverend Patricia Trudeau.
How do we change our future to be better than our past ? How do we eradicate fear of the other and unknown? How do we overcome Racism, Classism, Elitism?
By having a conversation with someone that does not look like us.
Many hands worked on this: the staff – past and present – painted the edge along with facilitators and in-residences. We all hold the space with love, colour and welcoming.
The black edge tying it together was done by our very own Minister-in-Residence, Reverend Patricia Trudeau.
“The edge is not perfect” and– as said by Lauren Mckinley Renzetti (Artist-in-Residence)– “Who is? This embodies all of us, as we are: not perfect – so it’s actually – perfect”
We honour all of those who speak with care, love and intention to others.To keep on moving forward, changing world with one conversation at a time .
