Nature Journaling, Sept. 4-6, 2026

(Cost: $165+HST)

If you’re looking for a way to get the most out of the last days of summer, and go into the fall season refreshed and rejuvenated, this is your chance!
Nature Journaling helps you slow down and develop or deepen your connection to the natural world. It helps to ignite your creativity and your curiosity. It’s also a powerful mindfulness practice that allows you to learn about nature and find a sense of belonging in the world.
Lean into your strengths—whether they be using words, or sketching, or crunching numbers—to create a record of your experiences out in mother nature. Don’t worry if you don’t know what your strengths are: you don’t need any experience or expertise in art, math or science; all you need is a willingness to be open to the process, a pen or pencil, and some paper.
As you learn to Nature Journal, your skills at paying attention, observing the world around you, your curiosity, and your ability to capture those in a Nature Journal will grow. You will find deep contentment and healing in the process, and you will make a whole lot of new nature friends besides!
So join facilitator Kim McCormack—someone who’s been engaged in their own Nature Journaling journey and helped many others start or develop theirs for more than 4 years—for a fantastic exploration of the wonders of nature around Unicamp!
