DESCRIPTION:Unicamp lost one of its precious community members when Rev. Pat Trudeau passed away suddenly on Saturday\, December 27\, 2025. As well as serving as Unicamp’s Minister in Residence and Minister Support for the board of directors\, Rev. Pat facilitated Unicamp’s annual “Fairy Walk”. \nPat\, our Fairy Queen\, will be so very missed in our community. She was always there to offer support to staff and campers\, planned many Sunday services\, and she floated through camp the way she seemed to float through life: with love and light. She brought our faith and principles to life in so many ways for so many years.We will miss Fairy Tea Time with you\, your activism to dismantle racism\, your love and guidance of others\, and your kind heart. You will be so very missed at Unicamp\, and in many other community circles that we know were blessed to have you. \nThis Celebration of Life will include: \n\nA community lunch;\nTestimonials about Pat;\nAn evening Fairy Walk in Pat’s honour;\nSharing around the campfire.

DESCRIPTION:We are so excited to invite you to become part of something truly magical! \nOn Saturday\, August 1\, join us for this FREE Wandering Temple Project\, where our community will come together as The Temple Weavers to co-create a collection of pop-up temples\, altars\, and sacred spaces woven throughout Unicamp for everyone to discover\, enjoy\, and connect with. \nTogether we’ll plan\, strategize\, and team up to create places of beauty\, reflection\, devotion\, play\, and wonder using natural materials and meaningful objects that celebrate the spirit of our camp community. \nTemple Weavers Schedule – Saturday\, August 1 \n🌿 11:00 a.m. – Temple Weavers Plan\, Strategize & Team Up Session (Grass Tent) \n🌿 2:00 p.m. – Create altars and Sacred Spaces throughout camp \n🌿 5:00 p.m. – Guided Wandering Temple Tour \nThis community program is FREE for all to enjoy together on our tour or alone on your own. \nIf you have any of the following that you’re willing to donate to become part of the Wandering Temple Project\, we’d be so grateful: \n• Circle of Friends clay candle holders (the figures holding hands in a circle) \n• Vases\, chalices\, bowls\, or other beautiful vessels for holding water \n• Little Buddha\, Goddess or spiritual statues \n• Crystals\, stones\, or special rocks you’d love to gift to Unicamp \n• Natural treasures or sacred objects that you’re comfortable leaving as part of the project \nNatural objects will remain as part of the Wandering Temple Project. SUMMARY:Give and Take Weekend (Spring Work Weekend)\, May 15-18\, 2026
DESCRIPTION:Community Building work weekends are vital to the care and functioning of camp. Volunteers work with staff to get camp ready for the summer season. We ask for 4-6 hours of volunteering per day from each person attending—we suggest 6 hours on the Saturday and 3 hours on the Sunday—in exchange for meals and accommodations; donations are gratefully accepted. We begin with a soup and bread dinner 7pm Friday (you are welcome to bring potluck items) and provide breakfast\, lunch and dinner on the Saturday and breakfast and lunch on the Sunday. Evenings are filled with campfires\, sing-a-longs\, games and stargazing. If you would like to join us for the weekend and take part in the community and surroundings of Unicamp without the work requirements\, regular fees apply minus 20%.
